The Point Church was originally formed as The Point Chapel in August 1963 as a church plant to reach the village of Innerarity Island. It was later renamed Innerarity Point Baptist Church and then The Point Church over the last 60 years. 

In September 2017, The Point Church expanded as the Elberta Campus began meeting at Elberta High School. As the campus grew, we were able to partner and merge with First Baptist Elberta which gave us a permanent location in the heart of Elberta. In December 2022, they transitioned to autonomy and became Elberta Church.  

The Point Church expanded once again in January 2023 as the Jackson Campus was formed from the existing West Pensacola Baptist Church. We’re excited to invest in this campus that already has a great legacy within its community and further the reach of the Gospel alongside them! 

Since the planting of each campus, we’ve experienced great growth! We’re thankful for the partnerships with members like you that allow us to serve our communities well!
